Effective Thursday, October 1, 2026, most Cowichan Valley Regional District (CVRD) water systems are moving to Stage 1 water restrictions as cooler and wet fall weather has begun. Dogwood Ridge remains at Stage 2 restrictions and Woodley Range is permanently at Stage 3 water restrictions.

In Stage 1 sprinkling can occur 2 hours maximum, 2 days per week between the hours of 7 p.m. and 9 a.m.

• Even numbered addresses: Wednesday & Saturday
• Odd numbered addresses: Thursday & Sunday

We thank residents for their efforts to help conserve water use over the spring and summer months. Reminder Stage 1 water use restrictions remain in effect until October 31 annually.
