The Town of Ladysmith and Diamond Water District will be moving to Stage 3 Water Restrictions effective Tuesday, July 7.  These restrictions are necessary due to record high water use during the month of June coupled with the continuing hot, dry weather.  Water levels in both Holland and Stocking Lakes are below normal for this time of year.

For information on the Ladysmith water system, check out the Town of Ladysmith Water Data Files.

Under Stage 3 Water Use Restrictions, all sprinkling is prohibited.  Trees, shrubs, and gardens may be watered by hand or with a micro-drip irrigation system only.

Other restrictions include:

  • No filling of pools or hot tubs
  • No washing vehicles, houses or boats
  • No washing driveways or sidewalks
